If you’re sexually active, it’s recommended to get tested at least once a year, or sooner if you have a new partner or any symptoms. Regular testing is the best way to protect your health and your partner’s health.

If you test positive for something we don’t provide testing for, we can connect you with a trusted local clinic or healthcare provider who does. Our goal is to make sure you get the care you need.

Your results will be given to you directly by a member of our medical staff. Depending on the test, you may receive them the same day or within a few business days. All results are shared confidentially.

Only you and the licensed medical professionals involved in your care will know the results of your STD tests.

Because testing at Relate Care is provided outside of insurance, your results remain confidential and are not shared with parents, partners, employers, schools, or insurance companies. Results are discussed privately with you, and nothing is released without your permission, unless required by law.

Yes. For certain STDs, treatment is provided at no cost through Relate Care.

If your test result is positive and treatment is appropriate, a licensed medical professional will explain your options and provide or coordinate treatment as part of your care. If a prescription is needed beyond what can be provided on-site, the team will help you understand next steps.
