Ultrasounds at Relate Care
Please arrive at your appointment with a valid photo ID. Paperwork is simple and may be completed electronically. A support person is welcome to attend with you if you choose.
Here’s what the process looks like:
- Check-in: You’ll be welcomed and meet with a licensed nurse.
- Health review: We’ll go over recent information and basic medical history.
- Ultrasound: You’ll receive a limited, non-diagnostic ultrasound to confirm pregnancy, gestational age, and location.
Afterward, we will review your information, discuss your options (including abortion), and receive relevant resources based on your situation.
What to expect at
Your Ultrasound Appointment
Please arrive 10 minutes early for check-in. A support person is welcome, and the visit takes place in a private, comfortable setting.
Here’s what the process looks like:
- Check in and review recent medical history in a separate room for privacy.
- Take a free, lab-quality pregnancy test with guidance from staff.
- If you are at least 6 weeks LMP, receive a limited, non-diagnostic ultrasound to estimate gestational age and confirm location.
Ultrasound appointments typically last an hour.
